May's Sunlit Mornings: A 5-Week Creativity Course

£3.00 - £40.00

Calling all May Queens and Jacks-in-the-Green - and anyone else who loves this 'merry month' and wants to channel their creativity in myriad ways!

We'll look at a variety of topics, from Beltane and May Day to otters and bats, from Joan of Arc and Anne Boleyn to hawthorn and wolfsbane lore, and so much more - often making unexpected connections along the way.

Whether you write poetry, prose fiction, or non-fiction, make visual art in any form, make music, or anything else, you are welcome to come along on this journey through the end of spring into summer.

Every Thursday, beginning on 1 May, you will receive a PDF of that week's topics, prompts, and activity suggestions via email. (As a result, the prompts will take us up to the beginning of June - so just over a month of myth, history, and the natural world!)

There's no pressure to complete any art or writing, the lessons will be there when you want to dip into them - either follow along every week, or save them for later.

Because I don't want money to be a barrier to anyone, there are 5 choices of basic fees (all receiving the same 5 lessons) for this course:

Dandelion - £3
Buttercup - £6
Foxglove - £12
Rowan - £24
Hawthorn - £30

There's also a special option for writers at £40 which includes detailed feedback on work produced as a result of the May course, should you be interested in this. You can send up to 3 poems, 2 flash fictions (1,000 words or less each), a combination of poems and flash, or a longer piece of prose between 1,000 - 4,000 words.

**Please leave a note with your order confirming the email address where you'd like to receive your daily lessons. Thank you!**
